The Book Patch - Review

Okay, so I decided to go through The Book Patch to see how it would turn out for book printing and binding. Honestly, it's not that bad!

There are no minimum quantities, and you can 'design' your own cover. The reason I quote design is because it seems like there is an unlimited amount of options - unless you design your own cover. The Book Patch puts the title of your book and your name on the cover by default, and I could not find a way to get rid of it! You can design a cover and leave those areas blank so you can see the title and name, but if you have a full cover design, like I do for Jessie's Eyes, you will have a much harder time.

I decided to keep looking around, since I would like to keep my own cover. I may end up having to purchase a minimum order. I would rather have more books than fewer books - as long as they're done right.

Happy Monday!

The Book Patch

I have had some people asking me for physical copies of Jessie's Eyes, so I began searching the Web for book printing companies. This turned out to be much more difficult than I thought, since most companies require a minimum of 25-100 books. The good news is that the more books your purchase, the lower the price for each individual book gets!

However, that does not work in my situation right now, since I do not have the need to print out so many copies. After much research, I came across The Book Patch, a book printing company with no minimums or insane pricing!

At this site, you can upload your book as a PDF file and even get an estimate on the spot! Their prices are quite resonable, and you can upload/design your cover using their cover designer as well.

Overall, I am quite happy with the looks of this Web site, and I will post my results with them soon!
