BLACKOUT
This is the horrific story of how addiction leads to murder. Mitchell Grossman is a twenty-something slacker floating his way through life as an alcoholic. He has continuously had issues with blackouts, interacting with people and/or engaging in a series of events that he doesn't remember, and notices that they are just getting worse. Yet, in denial of the harm it could cause others and disregarding his health, Mitch continues to hang out with his other alcoholic friends night after night to drink himself into, what they all call, "lights out". When his neighbor is murdered the police begin to consider a close friend of Mitch's as a prime suspect. The same friend he was with on the night of the murder. But Mitch can't remember a thing. What unfolds is chaotic string of events as Mitch tries to find answers and finds that he and his friends have violent alter egos when they have blackouts. Battling with the struggle of addiction Mitch tries to stop his friend's alter egos from continuing on a spree of brutal violence and discovers that he has found himself in a situation more horrific than he ever expected.
