The New Kindle
There is a lot of hype about Amazon's new Kindle 4, more commonly known as just 'Kindle.' They say it is the lighest version yet and can be read even in bright sunlight.
I will say that this Kindle is extremely light, weighing only six ounces. When it comes to glare, however, I would not say you can read it in direct sunlight. You can read it in plenty of sunlight, but not direct. Also, it says it should not be in an area where it is above 94 degrees, which can sometimes be difficult if you live in warmer states, such as Texas and Florida, and enjoy reading outside.
You do need a wifi connection to set up your Kindle, unless it was set up through Amazon, and in order to download any content. Be sure to download any content you may wish to read before going on any trips, such as some flights, where they may not be any wifi hotspots.
It is probably the best eReader a person can get under $100. It has all your basic functions, and you can also share notes on social networking sites, such as Facebook and Twitter!
Thank you for your helpful review. I have been considering purchasing a Kindle for some time. I will definitely put it on my things to buy list!
